77th Republic Day

The Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950. The people of India celebrate this momentous occasion every year on January 26th. Every year the main events are taking place in New Delhi. The celebration begins with the hoisting of the national flag. It will be followed by a 21-gun salute and the singing of the national anthem. Then the parade of India’s rich cultural heritage, military prowess, and technological advancements.

Every school, college, and government office in India follow the routine of flag-hoisting ceremonies, cultural programs, and patriotic songs. It’s a reflection of  the importance of upholding the Constitution’s values. All these are followed for spreading the spirit of patriotism.
